Approximately 750 million people live in the area around the flow of water from the Himalayas, including Bangladesh.

geography

Himalayan sequence has a length of about 2400 km, from Nanga Parbat in the west to Namche Barwa in the east. Its width varies between 250-300 km. Himalaya consists of three parallel rows, arranged according to height and age geologically.

Mount Everest (English: Mount Everest) is the highest mountain in the world (when measured from sea paras). Summit ridge marks the border between Nepal and Tibet; peak in Tibet. In Nepal, the mountain is called Sagarmatha (सगरमाथा, Sanskrit for "Forehead Heaven") and in Tibetan Chomolangma or Qomolangma ("Mother of the Universe"), pronounced in Chinese language 珠穆朗玛峰 (pinyin: Zhūmùlǎngmǎ Feng).
The mountain is getting his English name from the name of Sir George Everest. This name was given by Sir Andrew Waugh, the surveyor-general British India, the successor of Everest. Everest is one of the top seven in the world.

size

. Radhanath Sikdar, surveyors and mathematicians from Bengal, was the first person who claimed Mount Everest as the tallest peak through trigonometric calculations in 1852. This calculation is done using a theodolite from a distance of 150 miles away in India. Most of the people of India believe that the peak should be named after Sikdar, not Everest.

This mountain has a height of about 8850 m, although there are variations in terms of size (both the government of Nepal and China has not officially endorsed this measure, the height of Everest is still regarded by their 8848 m). Mount Everest was first measured in 1856 has a height of 8839 m, but stated as 8840 m (29,002 ft). Additional 0.6 m (2 feet) shows that at that exact altitude of 29,000 feet would be considered as estimates are rounded. Estimates commonly used at present is 8850 m obtained by reading the Global Positioning System (GPS).

Himalayas are still growing as a result of high tectonic plate movement area.
Mount Everest is a mountain whose top reaches the farthest distance from the sea paras. Two other mountains are sometimes also referred to as "the highest mountain in the world" is Mauna Loa in Hawaii, the highest measured from the bottom on the bottom middle of the sea, but only reached an altitude of 4170 m above sea paras and Mount Chimborazo in Ecuador, a peak 2150 m higher than the center of the earth than Mount Everest, because earth's equator mengembung in the region. However, Chimborazo only reached an altitude of 6272 m above sea paras, so it is not even the highest peak in the Andes.
Basic deepest in the ocean deeper than the height of Everest: the Challenger Deep, located in the Mariana Trench, so in the Himalayan mountains up if placed in it, there are nearly 1.6 miles of water covering it.

Mystery of the Kingdom of Heaven Shambala (On the summit of Mount Himalaya)

For thousands of years, there is a rumor circulating, that somewhere in Tibet, among the snowy Himalayan peaks and secluded valleys, there is a paradise that is untouched, a kingdom where the policy is not universal and ineffable peace resides. A kingdom called Shambala.

James Hilton wrote about this mystical city in 1933 in his book "Lost Horizon". Hollywood then picked it up in the 1960 film, "Shangri-la". Even the famous author James Redfield wrote The Celestine Prophecy also wrote a book entitled "The Secret of Shambala: In Search of the Eleven Insight." The mysterious Shambhala is also considered as a source for the Kalachakra, which is high and most esoteric branch of mystical Tibet.Legenda of Shambhala has existed since thousands of years ago. We can find a record of this kingdom in ancient texts such as the Kalachakra and Zhang Zhung that even existed before Buddhism entered Tibet.

The word Shambala (or Shambala) is derived from Sanskrit which means "Place of peace" or "Place of silence". This kingdom has a capital named Kalapa and ruled by the kings of the dynasty Kulika or Kalki. This is where living things are perfect and semi perfect meet and jointly guide the evolution of humanity. Only those who are pure in heart that can live in this place. There they will enjoy happiness and peace and will not even recognize the suffering.

It is said that in the kingdom, love and kebijakanlah ruling. It never occurred injustice. Its people have a very deep spiritual knowledge and culture they are constituted by law, art and knowledge are far higher than ever achieved by the attainment of the outside world.

Many adventurers and explorers have been trying to find this mystical kingdom. According to them, may Shambala is located in the mountainous regions of Eurasia, hidden from the outside world. Others who do not find it to believe that Shambala is just a symbol, a liaison between the real world with a world that existed beyond. But, some people longer believe that Shambhala is a real world.

According to Zhang Zhung ancient text, Shambhala is identical to the Sutlej Valley in Himachal Pradesh. While the nation Mongolia identified it with certain valleys of southern Siberia.

Legend of Shambhala then drew the attention of a follower of esoteric and theosophy named Nicholas Roerich (1874-1947). In curiosity, he explored the Gobi desert to the mountains of Altai from 1923 until 1928. This trip travel 15,500 miles and crossed the 35 highest mountain peaks in the world. But the tremendous effort it still can not find the kingdom.

Even the Nazis are also highly related to the esoteric world of Shambhala've sent a search expedition in 1930, 1934 and 1938.
But, none of them who managed to find it.
Edwin Bernbaum writes in "The Way of Shambhala":
"While the explorers approached the kingdom, their journey becomes increasingly difficult to see. One of the Tibetan priest wrote that this event was intended to keep Shambhala from the barbarians who intend to master it."
What was written by Bernbaum is closely associated with the prediction of Shambhala. According to the prophecy, humanity will experience a degradation of ideology and humanity. Materialism will spread throughout the earth. When the "barbarians" are united under the command of a wicked king, only then can the fog that envelops the mountains of Shambhala would be lifted and the king's army with terrible weapons to attack the city.

lu the 25th Shambhala king called Rudra Cakrin will lead his troops to fight the barbarians it. In that battle, the evil king and his troops successfully destroyed and mankind will be restored to the peace.

Some scholars such as Alex Berzin, using calculations from the Kalachakra Tantra, believed that these events will occur in the year 2424 AD.

As culture moves east to west, rise from the Shambhala myth in the mists of time. I think, longing for kedamaianlah which has caused mankind to try to find this utopian kingdom. Maybe we'll never find Shambhala, but maybe we also need not look too far.

An ancient tale from Tibet told that one day there was a young man preparing to search for Shambhala. After exploring the many mountains, he found a cave. Inside was an old hermit who then asked the young man: "Where your goals so that you are willing to explore this deep snow?"
"To find Shambhala," replied the young man.
"Ah, you do not have to go far." Hermit said. "Behold the kingdom of Shambhala is in your own heart."
