To this day, no one is certain how it was created and what its original purpose. Ancient Alien theory speculates that it is thousands of years older than believed, and were created by foreign visitors then left town.

According to the theory of ancient alien, extraterrestrial beings with superior knowledge of science and engineering landed on Earth thousands of years ago, sharing their expertise with early civilizations and forever changed the course of human history. But how this concept evolved, and there is evidence to support it? Ancient alien theory grew out of centuries-old notion that there is life on other planets, and that humans and aliens have crossed the road before. The theme of human-alien interaction presented in the spotlight in 1960, driven by a wave of UFO sightings and popular films like 2001: A Space Odyssey. Space program plays no small part in this as this: If people can go to another planet, why can not the aliens to Earth?

In 1968, the Swiss writer Erich von Daniken published Chariots of the Gods, who became an international bestseller soon?. In it, he put forward the hypothesis that, thousands of years ago, the space travelers from another planet visiting Earth, where they teach people about technology and influenced the ancient religion. He is considered by many as the father of ancient alien theory, also known as the theory of ancient astronauts.

Most ancient alien theorists, including von Daniken, point to two types of evidence to support their ideas. The first is an ancient religious texts in which the human witness and interact with the gods or celestial beings who descended from the sky, sometimes in vehicles like the space shuttle and has a spectacular power. The second is a physical specimen like a work of art that depict alien-like figures and ancient architectural wonders such as Stonehenge and the pyramids of Egypt.

If aliens visited Earth in the past, can they make an appearance in the future? For the ancient alien theory, the answer is yes. They believe that, by sharing their views with the world, they can help prepare future generations for meeting the inevitable that awaits them.
